Back in 2001, I visited George Eastman House museum in Rochester, New York and saw an Ansel Adams Gallery exhibit. I was instantly smitten by his beautiful nature pictures as they hung on display in the photography gallery and my own interest in photography grew from that moment. I began taking nature pictures, locally: the Finger Lakes, Western New York, Adirondack Mountains, Letchworth State Park & beyond, and then later I branched out to capture images of the east and west coast of the US.
My photography portfolio expanded as I began taking shots of people in different locations, whether at home or social events and other gatherings. I enrolled in a variety of photography classes to continue improving my fine art prints. Some of my pictures have won local photography awards. Also, my images have hung in the Rochester Contemporary Art Center in their "six-by-six show" period on two occasions. My photos have been shown at the image City gallery on University Avenue and have also graced Lake Effect and Nature's wisdom magazines.
You can see some of my nature photography on this beautiful nature pictures website you are on. For anyone in need of a photographer, I now offer a personally tailored photography service to capture treasured memories of special moments in time.
